Frequently asked questions

Quick answers, cowboy-professional. If you’ve got a special situation, just ask.

How do I get pricing information?

Send your date(s), location, guest count, and what you’re thinking for drinks. Pricing usually depends on service time, menu complexity, and crowd size. We’ll reply with clear options and a quote.

What does The Pony Pub provide?

The trailer bar and professional service. Add-ons can include mixers and garnishes, ice/coolers, disposables, signage, and small touches that make the setup feel finished. We’ll confirm what’s included up front.

What kinds of events do you serve?

Weddings, birthdays, showers, corporate gatherings, tailgates, anniversaries, reunions, and pop-ups. If people are celebrating, we’re listening.

Is alcohol included?

Hosts typically provide the alcohol in California. Once we build the menu, we can recommend quantities so you’re not guessing.

What about non-drinkers?

Easy. Water stations, sodas, coffee, mocktails, seltzers, or a NA menu that still feels special.

How many bartenders do we need?

It depends on the menu and service style. Simple pours and pre-batched drinks can handle larger crowds efficiently, while full cocktails and high-volume rushes may need more hands. Tell us what you want to serve, and we’ll recommend staffing that keeps lines short.

Do you travel?

Yes. We’re based in Julian and pour across San Diego County and beyond. If travel applies, we’ll spell it out up front.

What do you need on-site?

A flat spot to park and serve, and usually a standard outlet. If your location is off-grid, tell us and we’ll talk through options.
